A fatal two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 Tuesday closed traffic heading toward New Mexico, officials say.
The crash happened about 7:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10, near milepost 354 just before Bowie, the Arizona Department of Transportation said in a post to their official X account.
The crash between Wilcox and Bowie resulted in a death, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
About noon, the agency said in an update to X that it expected to the lane closure to last into the afternoon.
Details of the crash were not immediately available Tuesday afternoon.
