A woman was killed and a teenager was injured in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday morning on Tucson's northwest side.

Marilyn Young, 88, was driving a Honda Accord west on North Fountains Avenue about 9:30 a.m. when she collided with a Chrysler 300C being driven north on North La Cholla Boulevard by an unidentified teenager, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.

Young died at the crash scene.

The teen was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Speed is a possible factor in the crash, the release said. The investigation continues.
