Bellee Will Taylor, a dentist, works with groups that help children and teenagers who take care of themselves.

What: Benโ€™s Bells promote kindness and community involvement. Each week a person who makes Tucson better is โ€œbelled.โ€

Last weekโ€™s recipient: Will Taylor.

Nominated by: Jorge Espinoza.

Why: For his work with Youth On Their Own and teens with dental needs. Espinoza said he recently needed a root canal and was worried about the cost. The organization Youth On Their Own, or YOTO, referred him to Taylor. Espinoza said Taylor did the root canal and follow-up appointments at no charge. โ€œThis wonderful man has been working with YOTO for a while now,โ€ Espinoza wrote in his nomination letter. Taylor works with groups that help children and teenagers who take care of themselves, such as Youth on their Own. โ€œHe has a huge heart, and I could never thank him enough for helping my family. He is a very kind and genuine person, and makes the dentist (office) not so scary,โ€ Espinoza wrote.
