Tucson Monsoon 2018

With monsoon clouds developing last month, workers assembled a crane for construction on The Mark student housing near the UA.

Tucson enjoyed a glimpse of monsoon season yesterday, with .76 of an inch of rain recorded at the Tucson International Airport, the National Weather Service says.

Because of yesterday's storm, the rainfall total for Tucson's monsoon season is now at 7.01 inches. That means this year's monsoon season is the 37th wettest on record.

It could be another cloudy — and humid — day in the Old Pueblo today. There is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, though the chances are a lot slimmer than yesterday.

Temperatures will likely hit the 90s today. Cross your fingers that we won't see triple digits for a while!

High: 90

Low: 70
