Northbound Interstate 19 was closed at Green Valley due to a fatal crash involving a tractor trailer and RV. The interstate is closed at the Green Valley exit, about 25 miles south of Tucson, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The crash was reported at about 10:50 a.m. and the roadway was reopened shortly before noon.

Another two-vehicle fatal crash on Interstate 19 south of Tucson halted traffic in both directions, officials said earlier this morning. Β

In that wreck, travel lanes in both directions near Pima Mine Road were affected for several hours, according to a tweet from the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Meanwhile, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said east-bound River Road at Shannon Road was shut down due to a serious traffic collision involving a bicyclist at around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning. The road reopened shortly after 12 p.m.Β
