● When folk hero Bob Dylan and country rebel Merle Haggard hit the road together last spring, Pollstar magazine called it the "dream tour for the common man."

They bring their show to the Tucson Arena, 260 S. Church Ave., on April 10, two days after it hits Phoenix.

Tickets go on sale Saturday through Ticketmaster for both Arizona shows. They're $39.50-$65 for Tucson; it's a few dollars more for the Phoenix-area show, to be held April 8 at the Maricopa Events Center in Sun City.

The show is being presented by Nederlander Concerts, which is affiliated with Broadway in Tucson/A Nederlander Presentation.

The last time Dylan played Tucson, it was a sold-out show before more than 4,600 at Casino del Sol's AVA in October 2002. Haggard played to about 1,900 in a nearly sold-out show at Desert Diamond Casino earlier that year.
