An 81-year-old man died hours after a rollover crash Tuesday morning on Tucson's southeast side, police say.
Thomas Henry Billeter was driving a 2023 Volkswagen south on South Houghton Road between East Irvington and East Escalante roads about 10 a.m. when he made a hard right turn, went off the road and rolled several times to the bottom of a steep embankment, Tucson police said Wednesday in a news release.
Billeter died later at the hospital, police said.
Investigators are working to determine if a medical issue led to the crash.
