Tucson Electric Power Co. crews were working Tuesday night to restore power to 240 customers in three neighborhoods — two affected by weather damage.
Power is expected to be restored Tuesday night, according to officials.
The largest outage due to equipment damaged by a storm is affecting 111 customers in a downtown area neighborhood roughly bounded by East 13th Street on the north to East 17th Street on the south, and South Sixth Avenue on the west to South Fifth Avenue on the east.
Another 99 customers are without power due to poles and wires down in a south-side neighborhood roughly bounded by East Bantam Road on the north to East Drexel Road on the south, and South Cherry Avenue on the west to South Campbell Avenue on the east.
Crews were investigating the cause of a power outage affecting 30 customers in a south-side neighborhood roughly bounded by East Corona Road on the north to East Elvado Road on the south, and South Geronimo Avenue on the west to South Nogales Highway on the east.
