U.S. Marshals arrested a man accused of molesting a child in Tucson as a result of a multi-state investigation Wednesday.

Troy Calease, 56, will be extradited to Pima County from Nevada to face charges of molestation allegedly committed inside his Tucson home, a U.S. Marshals news release said.

Pima County Sheriff's Department issued an arrest warrant Aug. 21 stemming from an accusation against Calease.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Marshals Arizona WANTED task force tracked Calease's location to a Nevada home with help from the sheriff's department. Calease was arrested once he returned home.

“No child should ever have to endure sexual abuse”, said David Gonzales, U.S. Marshal for the district of Arizona. “The U.S. Marshals Service is dedicated to pursuing predators. Our partnership with Pima County Sheriff’s Department assures that child predators like Troy Calease will be brought to justice.”
