A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash this week near the east end of the University of Arizona campus, Tucson police said.
Nicholas Daniel Perez was headed south on North Campbell Avenue when he collided with a Hyundai sedan turning onto East University Boulevard, police said in a news release. He died at the crash scene.
The crash happened about 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Speeding by Perez and failure to yield by the unidentified Hyundai driver are major factors in the crash, the release said.
The wreck still is being investigated.
