An Arizona Air National Guard F16 takes off as it passes the $42 million control tower which is under construction during regular daily activities at Tucson International Airport in 2015.

The Arizona Air National Guard's 162nd Wing will conduct flyovers at several Memorial Day events in the Tucson area.

Two F-16 Fighting Falcons from the wing will conduct flyovers at these events Monday morning:

  • Parade and service, Tucson Estates Park, 5900 W. Western Way Circle, 9 a.m.
  • Service at East Lawn Palms, 5801 E. Grant Road, 9:05 a.m.
  • Service at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S. Park Ave., 9:10 a.m.
  • Service at Green Valley Mortuary, 18751 S. La Canada Dr., Sahuarita, 9:15 a.m.
  • Service at Purple Heart Park, 10050 E. Rita Road, 10 a.m.

The wing, which is based at the Tucson International Airport, does flyovers at events approved by the Air Force.

Also, Brig. Gen. Andrew J. MacDonald, commander of the wing, will be speaking at the East Lawn Palms service.
