One person was killed Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Marana, authorities say.

The vehicle’s driver, and only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle crash about 4 a.m. near West Twin Peaks and North Blue Bonnet roads, Marana police said.

Investigators say speed was a factor in the wreck. No details about the crash were provided Saturday afternoon.

The crash resulted in the closure of Twin Peaks for several hours.
