Tucson weather officials: This October is the 5th wettest of all time

It looks like it'll be another cloudy day in the Old Pueblo, with a chance of rain expected today.

Yesterday's rain brought flash flood warnings for spots surrounding Tucson, including Green Valley and Sahuarita. A significant weather advisory was also issued for areas throughout Pima County. 

According to the National Weather Service, this October currently sits in fifth place for the wettest October with 2.65 inches of rain recorded.

First place is held by the year 2000, with close to 5 inches. 

But the month isn't over yet — maybe Tucson will jump a ranking or two.
