Project YES of the Tucson Urban League
Mission: Certified after-school tutoring and homework help program that provides quality services aimed at improving academic achievement of grade school-age children living in poverty.
Wish List: School supplies (electric pencil sharpeners, colored pencils, magic markers, highlighters, children’s scissors, glue sticks); puzzles (24 to 100 pieces); 5 oz. paper drinking cups; Kleenex; copy paper; flash cards for basic math; recent World Book Encyclopedia; Children’s Illustrated Dictionary; radio with plug for headphones; board games; dry-erase boards; underpants and pants for ages 5 to 8; playground equipment; $250 a year to sponsor a child.
