A person was struck and killed by a train Wednesday on Tucson's south side, officials say.
The incident occurred about 8:45 p.m. near East Columbia Street and South Fair Avenue, south of East Ajo Way, according to Union Pacific.
No details about the crash were immediately available Thursday afternoon.
The investigation continues, Union Pacific said.
