A woman in Marana was bitten by a rattlesnake as she walked out the front door of her Dove Mountain residence, fire officials said.
The Northwest Fire District said it was called to the house at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday to treat a 29-year-old woman. She had been bitten on the foot by a diamondback rattlesnake.
She was treated at the scene and taken in stable condition to Oro Valley Hospital, according to a district news release.
This is the fourth snake-bite call handled this year by the fire district.
