Tucson firefighters put out a blaze at a vacant house on the city's southwest side Monday afternoon.
Multiple 911-callers reported the blaze Nov. 6 shortly before 3 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Pueblo Vista Boulevard, which is south of West Starr Pass Boulevard and west of South Mission Road.
Firefighters battled the blaze from outdoors because of heavy smoke and flames, said Capt. Andy Skaggs of the Tucson Fire Department.
A downed power line presented a danger to crews before Tucson Electric Power Co. cut off electricity to the line, Skaggs said.
The fire was under control in seven minutes.
Fire investigators are working to determine the origin and cause of the fire. A damage estimate has not been determined Skaggs said. Β
