Visitors to Mount Lemmon should expect extended delays this afternoon due to high traffic volume, authorities say.
Access to the site is now being controlled at the base by Pima County Sheriff's deputies.Â
Deputies are allowing one vehicle entry per vehicle exiting the site, according to the department.
Motorists should use caution and watch for other visitors while traveling up the mountain and finding parking spaces.
