The public is invited to attend free legal seminars in civil and family law presented by attorneys on Thursday, March 30.
The sessions will be held at the Ellie Towne Flowing Wells Community Center at 1660 W. Ruthrauff Road. The event is sponsored by Pima County Superior Court and the Pima County Bar Association.
The first session is from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and the second is from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m.
Topics covered at each session are divorce/child support, probate/guardianship/conservatorship, debtor/creditor and landlord/tenant.
Attorneys will take questions, but will not provide individualized legal advice or discuss specific cases, said Krisanne LoGalbo, a Superior Court spokeswoman.
The Office of the State Attorney General's Child Support Division will have representatives at the event to answer questions regarding child support modification and enforcement.
Representatives of the Superior Court's law library will be available to offer instruction on how to use the court's web site. The web site includes access to do-it-yourself forms and links to resources and legal research databases, LoGalbo said.
Spanish-speaking interpreters will be available. If other language interpretative assistance is needed, it may be available with prior notice by calling 724-3888.
