Authorities have identified a man killed in a Foothills homicide and are searching for the victim's missing late model pickup truck.
Robert Belman, 71, the owner of Arizona Auto Refrigeration, was found dead Thursday when Pima County Sheriff's deputies went to his house to check on his welfare and found the door ajar, Deputy Cody Gress said.
Deputies were dispatched after the sheriff received a report that Belman not been seen in some time and was thought to have perhaps gone missing.
The victim, who lived in the 5400 block of East Calle Barril, near the intersection of North Craycroft Road and East Territory Drive, had "obvious signs of trauma."
Investigators hope an autopsy tentatively scheduled for Friday will shed more light on how he died, Gress said.
The sheriff's department has issued an alert for Belman's white 2017 Toyota Tacoma truck with the Arizona license plate number CCK 9419. The vehicle was missing when deputies searched the property, Gress said.
Investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to call 88-CRIME.
