Visitors are now free to bike or walk up âAâ Mountain, but vehicles are still not allowed.
Recent rainfall caused extensive erosion to the shoulders on the road to Sentinel Peak Park, also called âAâ Mountain, which forced Tucson Parks and Recreation to temporarily close the road due to public safety issues, according to a news release from the city of Tucson.
The road remains closed to vehicles so that the city can further assess the damage and make the required repairs, the release said.
Once the repairs are completed, the road will be open for vehicles.
