An arrest has been made in last week’s killing of a Tucson businessman, authorities say.
Frank Eugene Martinez Jr., 34, was arrested Friday in connection with the murder of Robert Belman at his Catalina Foothills home, Pima County Sheriff’s Deputy Cody Gress said in a news release Saturday morning.
Details of the arrest were not immediately released.
Gress said Belman’s stolen pickup was found “in the area of where Mr. Martinez was located.”
Martinez was booked into the Pima County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder, kidnapping, second-degree burglary and unlawful use of means of transportation, Gress said.
The investigation is continuing.
Belman, 71, was the owner of Arizona Auto Refrigeration. He was found dead Thursday when deputies went to his house near North Craycroft Road and East Territory Drive to check on his welfare.
A motive in the killing has not be released.
