Sunflower and sun

Thunderstorm activity will be scant today, as most of the moisture has temporarily left the region. Tomorrow and Monday bring an even lower chance of showers and thunderstorms, and temperatures will begin to climb because of the lack of cloud cover and precipitation. Monday's temperature should peak at about five degrees above normal.

Storm activity should return by Tuesday, when monsoonal moisture returns. There's a strong chance for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night through the end of next week, and the return of moisture and cloud cover will drop temperatures back below average.
