A worker stuck in a bucket truck while working on outdoor lighting at Desert View High School Monday was safely returned to solid ground by a Tucson Fire crew.

The incident happened just before 11 a.m. when the worker was performing maintenance on exterior lights at the school's tennis courts.

He was about 50 feet high when the truck died, the department said.

A Tucson Fire ladder truck was used to rescue the man.

No one was injured.
