Tucson Fire Station #3

The fire truck at station No. 3 is smaller than the department’s other engines, so it can fit the apparatus bay.

The Tucson Fire Department returned from a call to find the station filled with smoke and a fire on the kitchen stove, Saturday evening.

The Station 11 crew put out the flames with a fire extinguisher. Other units assisted in confirming the fire was actually out.

The firefighters had been cooking dinner when they were dispatched on a call and didn't turn off the stove. The fire damaged cabinets and the ceiling and there was smoke damage throughout the main area of the station.
