TTT truck stop

Longtime truck stop TTT is for sale.

The TTT truck stop, a longtime Tucson fixture, is for sale.

Family-owned since the 1960s, the Tucson Truck Terminal at 5451 E. Benson Highway is on the market for $10 million.

It sits on 11 acres along Interstate 10 and features a restaurant, convenience store, truck wash and underground diesel tank.

Tucson's iconic TTT Truck Terminal, born in 1954 at 4445 E. Benson Highway, moved a mile east to its current location at Craycroft Road and Benson Highway on 22-acres along Interstate 10 in 1966.

When opened, it was hailed as one of the largest and most modern truck stops West of the Mississippi.

The truck stop is also adjacent to Pilot Travel Center and freightliner dealership.

The TTT’s famed restaurant, Omar’s Hi-Way Chef Restaurant, was opened in 1996 by Tucson native Omar Ramirez.

His food has been featured on Food Network, and the restaurant has been a destination for truckers and local foodies alike, especially those who loved the deep-dish pies topped with soft-serve ice cream.

Broker Kidder Mathews is marketing the property for sale on behalf of the family.
