National Tequila Day fell on taco Tuesday: Here are 9 places in Tucson to celebrate
- Updated
Can we all just take a second to appreciate the fact that National Tequila Day falls on Taco Tuesday?
Yes — today, July 24, marks National Tequila Day. So, after that long day of work, visit your favorite bar or restaurant and enjoy your go-to cocktail. (Just keep in mind that temperatures in Tucson are extremely high today.)
We've got 9 spots for you to visit for a sip (or two?) of tequila. And lucky for you, some of them are offering deals.
And if you're really into tequila, you can plan ahead and get $7 off your tickets to the World Margarita Championship (August 10) and the Southern Arizona Salsa, Tequila & Taco Challenge (September 2).
Visit saaca.org/events and use code TEQUILA at checkout to cash in on the ticket deal. The offer expires July 25.
Side note: The Tequila Factory at Casino Del Sol is another good place to visit if you're a tequila enthusiast — they have more than 120 tequila varieties. But it's not open today.
