New Tucson Mayor Regina Romero took the oath of office at Leo Rich Theater on Dec. 2, 2019, along with new council members Lane Santa Cruz (Ward 1) and Nikki Scott (Ward 4), as well as incumbent Paul Cunningham (Ward 2). They replace outgoing Mayor Jonathan Rothschild, Romero (Ward 1 Council) and Shirley Scott (Ward 4 council).
