Photos: TUSD begins in-person full-time instruction

After more than a year of the Coronavirus pandemic, Tucson Unified School District began full-time in-person instruction on Monday, March 22.
At Holladay Magnet Elementary School, a little less than half of their students came back for in-person instruction.
"We have ninety kids back in the building, so we have about 45% of our kids are here," said Tonya Strozier, principle. There are some students and teachers which are still doing remote work, added Strozier.Β
Some changes were implemented in response to the pandemic include, plexiglass dividers added to desks while students worked in desks placed socially distanced apart. Students, also, ate breakfast and lunch outdoors and were given breaks to play outside while janitors sanitized classrooms.
