Mariachis students in Tucson help raise funds for Houston mariachis students who lost instruments in Hurricane Harvey

It took around two weeks to organize the event which involved 14 mariachi groups and four folklorico groups, she said. Richard Carranza, Houston's superintendent, is a former mariachi performer and Pueblo graduate.Β
