Iris Age: 19 months Qualities: Iris is a year and a half old Chug (Chihuahua Pug cross). Due to her background as a hoarded dog who was not socialized as a puppy, she is a special needs adoption, although she has come a long way. She is fearful of people and will not approach them. However, in the short time that she has been in her current foster home, she has learned take treats from the hand and sleeps in bed with her foster mother and other dogs. She must be adopted to a dog savvy home that is familiar with the special challenges of hoarded dogs. She is housebroken, uses a doggie door and gets along great with other dogs.
