Police responded to an "unknown threat" at the University of Arizona's College of Veterinary Medicine on Wednesday afternoon that resulted in the evacuation of the campus in Oro Valley.
Few details have been released, but officers from the Oro Valley Police Department who responded to the scene detained one person, according to a Facebook post by the department.
The campus was evacuated and police conducted a search "out of an abundance of caution," the department said.
No injuries have been reported, and according to Darren Wright, a spokesman for the department, it is believed to be an isolated incident that does not pose a further threat to students or the school.
OVPD and the University of Arizona Police Department are working together on the case.
