A wounded 35-year-old man left at a Tucson hospital died and police are investigating his death as a homicide.

The shooting of Emmanuel Loya, who was left at St. Mary’s Hospital Friday night, is linked a shooting that occurred about 9:15 p.m. in the 5200 block of South Champion Stravenue, near South Sixth Avenue and West of Irvington Road, Tucson police said in a news release.

Neither a motive nor suspect has been identified in the ongoing investigation.
