88-CRIME has increased the reward it is offering for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the Nancy Guthrie disappearance to $102,500 — which is in addition to the separate $100,000 reward the FBI is offering.
An anonymous $100,000 donation Wednesday to 88-CRIME allowed it to increase the reward, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said. Anyone with information is urged to call 520-882-7463 (520-88-CRIME); tipsters can remain anonymous.
88-CRIME is a program of the Pima County Attorney's Office.
The FBI reward, meanwhile, is for information leading to the location of Nancy Guthrie and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance. Call 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
The FBI is not involved in administering any other rewards such as 88-CRIME's, the Sheriff's Department pointed out.
Guthrie, 84, was forcibly taken from her home near North Campbell Avenue and East Skyline Drive in the early morning hours of Feb. 1, investigators say. She is the mother of NBC "Today" host Savannah Guthrie.
In other updates Wednesday, the Sheriff's Department said:
DNA: Investigators are analyzing biological evidence found at Nancy Guthrie’s home. DNA profiles are currently under lab analysis.
Investigation details: "PCSD has received various requests for confirmation of various topics including working with Mexican authorities, utilizing polygraph tests, specific video surveillance requests, financial analysis, etc. PCSD is not confirming or releasing any details regarding those topics at this time."
SWAT activity: "We do not share where our teams are dispatched to for officer safety. There was a call this afternoon that is not related to the Nancy Guthrie investigation."
