A man was shot to death Sunday evening after an argument at a house near East Pima Street and North Swan Road, police say.

The man, Eric Noriega, 39, was visiting a home in the 4700 block of East Linden Street about 6:30 p.m. when he argued with two men who arrived after him, Sgt. Kimberly Bay said in a news release. Noriega was arguing about property before being shot, police say.

Noriega died a short time later at Banner-University Medical Center Tucson. He was publicly identified by police Monday afternoon.

Police say they continue to search for the two men involved in the shooting who fled the house in a vehicle.
