Tucson police found a dead woman who suffered blunt force trauma inside a house on the north side Tuesday night.
The woman is 53 years old, said Detective Kristopher Goins, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
The discovery was made after a person flagged down officers and told them about the woman who was in a house in the 3000 block of North Richey Boulevard, Goins said. The incident was reported at 7:30 p.m.
Richey is shut down between Presido and East Blacklidge Drive, Goins said.
No further information was immediately available.
