The Tucson Police Department is investigating amurder-suicide that occurred Saturday near East Glenn Street and North Winstel Boulevard.

Around 6:15 p.m., police responded to report of a male and female arguing outside a home on the 2700 block of North Winstel Blvd. 

According to a news release, Sandra Hatfield, 64 went to the home of Andrew Poe, 54, with whom she had a romantic relationship. The two did not live together, according to police.

The two started arguing, and Hatfield began damaging Poe’s car, which was parked in the yard, police said.

Poe confronted the woman and the two went into the house, where Poe shot Hatfield and then turned the gun on himself, police said.

Police found the two when they entered the home and then called the Tucson Fire Department for assistance. 

Poe and Hatfield were pronounced dead at the scene.
