The Pima County Sheriff's Department said the robber drove up through the drive through at the restaurant in the 5300 block of South Palo Verde Road at about 10:30 p.m. in a light colored sedan. The man pointed a silver handgun at an employee and used the gun to smash the window.
The robber reached in through the shattered window and took the cash drawer before driving away.
The man is described as being in his early 20s, wearing a black-and-red baseball hat, hooded gray sweatshirt and long-sleeved undershirt.
