Pima County sheriff's deputies are looking for a 49-year-old inmate who fled from a work crew at the Pima Animal Care Center this morning, authorities aid.

Deputies responded to PACC at about 8 a.m. after receiving reports that Cathleen Stein walked away from her work detail, said Deputy Ryan Inglett, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman.

Stein was serving time for a probation violation and was scheduled to be released in mid-June, Inglett said.

She is 5'8", 125 pounds and has blonder hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a red Pima County jail uniform.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
