The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in locating two suspects in a March 11 armed robbery at a south side car wash, authorities said.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., deputies responded to Jet Wash, 4657 E. Valencia Rd., to reports that two suspects had stolen money from the register, said Deputy Cody Gress, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman.
Through witness interviews and security footage, detectives were able to determine that the two suspects entered the car wash's office just after closing. One suspect pointed a knife at the two employees and told them to stand in the corner with their backs turned, Gress said.
The suspects filled a backpack with cash and took one of the employee's cell phones before fleeing on foot, Gress said.
The men are believed to be between 18 and 20-years-old and were last seen wearing black hooded sweatshirts, gloves, masks and carrying knives.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or submit an anonymous tip to 88-CRIME.
