A vigil was held May 25, 2013, at a baseball field at Morris K. Udall Regional Center for Erick Bridges, the east side convenience store employee who was stabbed by an unknown assailant.

The reason for the service at the ball park was because that is where Bridges proposed marriage to Brown last November. More than one hundred friends and family attended the service.
