Pima County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a 76-year-old registered sex offender they say exposed himself to a girl at a fast-food restaurant on the south side.

After releasing video footage from the restaurant and asking for the public's help identifying the suspect on Tuesday night, the department received information that the man in the video was Sky Findlay, saidΒ Deputy Ryan Inglett, a sheriff's department spokesman.

Detectives were able to quickly locate Findlay and arrest him for indecent exposure, Inglett said.

At this point, Findlay is the only suspect, however detectives are still interviewing potential witnesses to the alleged act.

Findlay, a level two sex offender, was previously convicted of aggravated criminal sexual assault, indecent exposure and failure to register as a sex offender, according to the Arizona of Public Safety's sex offender database.

The home address he has registered with the sex offender registry is located in the area of West Bilby Road and South Cardinal Avenue.

The incident occurred June 30 at Wendy's, 3545 E. Irvington Road, Inglett said on Tuesday.

Deputies learned that a man exposed himself to a young girl near the restrooms of the restaurant, Inglett said. Video surveillance shows the girl following the man around the corner from the counter.
