The new science, technology, engineering and math elementary school in the Amphitheater School District now has a name.
The K-5 school, which will open for classes in August 2017, will be called Innovation Academy. It was chosen out of more than 200 names submitted by the community.
The school is being built in Oro Valley at 825 W. Desert Fairway Drive, near North La Cañada Drive and West Moore Road.
