Vail completes sixth tiny house

Vail Unified School District unveiled its sixth student-built tiny home in the β€œLand Between the Tracks” community on Tuesday, May 21.

In 2018 VUSD purchased 15 acres of land, centrally located in the heart of Vail, to build tiny, affordable houses for teachers and staff in the district.

The tiny homes are built for teachers by students through the award-winning Building Trades Program at Cienega High School, a construction class run by instructor Michael Keck.
