Heavy rainfall has the potential to make its way across Southern Arizona till Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service in Tucson, showers will increase near the International Border starting Sunday night and into Monday morning.

Tucson could see scattered showers beginning tomorrow late in the morning. However, the heaviest rainfall has been predicted to occur in the afternoon through Tuesday morning.

Because NWS is anticipating more than a 1.41 inches of rain around the area a flash flood warning has been issued for Southern Arizona, including Tucson, beginning Monday until Tuesday at 5 p.m.
