Rep. Martha McSally

Would you like to attend Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration? If you live in Rep. Martha McSally’s district, you’ll just need to be lucky — not a dignitary — to get tickets.

McSally announced Thursday that her office is accepting ticket requests from residents of her Second Congressional District for the Jan. 20 inauguration. Tickets will be allocated through a random drawing Nov. 30.

“The swearing-in ceremony provides a rare opportunity to be a part of history … and (to) be in our nation’s capital for this hallmark of our representative republic, the peaceful transition of power,” the Tucson Republican said in a news release.

Each congressional office receives a limited number of tickets for the ceremony. The deadline to request tickets through McSally’s office is Nov. 29, through https://mcsally.house.gov/services/2017-presidential-inauguration.
