The semi-annual Cyclovia event will take bikers, pedestrians and other nonmotorized road-users along a two-mile route from the Tucson Botanical Gardens to the Camino Miramonte-Speedway intersection on Sunday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Cars, with only a few exceptions, will not be allowed on the midtown route. Living Streets Alliance, the event’s organizer, advises residents and business owners along the route to park their cars away from the route during the event.

Residents with limited mobility, however, will be allowed to slowly drive to or from their homes or businesses with the assistance of a Cyclovia volunteer. Those volunteers will be stationed at every intersection, and are aware of several parts along the route where the event will block the only available access points.

There will be a number of activities and booths from community organizations along the route, as well as food trucks and bike repair stations.
