A Green Valley Fire District crew battled a blaze Wednesday that destroyed a van in the resort community of Quail Creek.
No injuries were reported in the fire, said L.T. Pratt, a fire district spokesman.
Shortly after 3 p.m., firefighters responded to the fire near the intersection of North Miranda Lane and North Quail Range Loop, Pratt said.
The crew found a contractor van fully engulfed in flames. The van was believed to contain flammable materials used in home construction, Pratt said.
The cause of the fire or a damage estimate were not released.
