Bradley Lewis, 67, was arrested after fatally shooting his stepson in Green Valley.

Sheriff's deputies arrested a Green Valley man early Tuesday morning in connection with the shooting death of his stepson, officials said.

Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, deputies responded to calls about suspicious activity in the 4000 block of South Gloria View Court in Green Valley, according to a news release from the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two men, one unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, the release said.

Officials have identified the man as 53-year-old Russell Santos.

The other man in the home was Bradley Lewis, 67. According to officials, Lewis called 911 and said that he was the one who shot Santos.

Lewis was booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center and is facing charges of second degree murder.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with further information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
