Mt. Lemmon Highway will open at 3 p.m. to residents and employees with proper identification, the sheriff's department said.

The highway was closed due to the Burro Fire in the Santa Catalina Mountains. Redington Road, which also was closed as a result of the fire, will re-open to all traffic, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a Facebook post Monday. The U.S. Forest Service may close other roads in the area.
